Whitney Eve Port (born March 4, 1985)[1] is an American television personality, clothing designer, model and occasional actress. She is most notably recognized for appearing on the MTV reality television series The Hills and later, as the narrator of her own show, titled The City. She is a former fashion contributor for Teen Vogue and used to work for Diane von Fürstenberg.
Early life
Port was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter of Jeffery and Vicki Lyn Port (nee Woskoff). She is the third youngest of three sisters and one brother. Her father, Jeff, is the owner of a fashion company called Swarm.[2][3]
Whitney Port attended Warner Avenue Elementary School. She then went to Crossroads School for the Arts and Sciences for middle school and high school. In 2007, Port graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with a degree in gender studies, where she roomed with Christina Schuller, former Laguna Beach cast member and friend of Lauren Conrad, and also dated Tommy Jones III.
